Previous Community Projects
In April 2020 we donated £250 to NHS workers, to support front line staff in their battle with Coronavirus.
Junior Dr Atinuke was a recipient of this donation, based in London Dr Atinuke worked in acute medicine. At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic it became the Covid-19 team. Despite the difficult decisions she was having to make, as well as coping with the pressures of Covid-19. Dr Atinuke was confident we would beat this deadly virus one day.
Trip to Tamale
In February 2020 our founder Margaret Debrah took a trip to Northern Ghana, to visit yam farmers. To see how Songhai and Maggies_spot can work with them to build a better future. We are committed to building a business where supporting the community for the long term is at the forefront of what we do. More details to follow soon.
In December 2015 our founder Margaret Debrah visited the Trinity Baptist Orphanage Centre, also known as Hope Centre. She raised just under £3,000 for the Orphans, which was used to buy educational books for their development, clothing as well as go towards building maintenance.
